How do I pay my association dues?
For all payments after your first payment, your options are as follows:

1)Online payment at www.smartstreet.com.
  • E-check – a self-initiated debit from your checking account. You determine the number of reoccurring payments and the date OR
  • Credit Card – American Express, Discover or Mastercard or Debit/Checkcard -Mastercard only. There is a $9.95 processing fee for each transaction.

2)E-bill payment through your financial institution. Use Your HOA name, c/o Smartstreet, P.O. Box 105007, Atlanta, GA 30348-5007 as your biller information.

3)Pay by Check
  • Mail your check and coupon directly to Smartstreet. Please fill out the coupon order form on the next page if this is how you would like to pay your dues. There is a $10 annual charge for the coupon which will expire December 31 of each year.

What are the landscaping guidelines?
Many homeowners desire to improve the aesthetics of their property through custom landscaping. Please always refer to the full set of covenants for all of the requirements. Below are a few of the important things to remember when you are preparing to landscape around your home:
  • 1 Street Tree (of an approved species) is required on the front yard of the lot
  • 2 additional trees are required on all Single Family Lots (other than Street Trees) may be either deciduous or evergreen shrubs
  • 10 deciduous and/or evergreen Shrubs
  • Approximately 75% or all required plant materials should be planted in the front and side yards within view from the street.
  • Front yard, side yards and 25 feet of the rear yard measured from the rear of the dwelling shall be fully sodded the remaining rear yard shall be sodded or seeded.

Street Tree –Approved Tree Species:
Red Maple, Norway Maple, Marshall’s Seedless Ash
Northern Red Oak, Burr Oak, Little Leaf Linden

Landscaping must be completed within 90 days of occupancy.

Additionally, please keep in mind that all homeowners are required to have the utilities marked prior to any digging. Any damage caused will be the responsibility of the homeowner.


Do we have association meetings?
Yes. Association meetings are generally held once per year. You will be notified by mail for all association meetings.

What are the pet policies?

According to the Covenants of the Association, pet dogs and cat may be kept. Nuisance dogs, such as Rottweilers, Doberman pinchers and Pit Bulls, are prohibited. No more than two (2) dogs shall be kept. The number of pets in each household shall be maintained at the level where they under complete control and care by the occupant and are of no nuisance from noise, odor or trespass to all other lots within the Property. Owners shall bear full responsibility for animals not under leash. No animal shall be chained or otherwise restrained outside or in the garage. Outside pens or dog runs will not be allowed.

The Association has the right to adopt any rules and regulations regarding the handling and conduct of pets. Please clean up after you pets and maintain control of your pets at all times. Non-compliance with these Association rules may result in sanctions including loss of voting rights, fines, etc.

The city also has ordinances with respect to dogs, cats and other animals. Please make yourself aware of the regulations.

What are the fence guidelines?
Each community has slightly different fence guidelines. Please refer to the covenants for the full requirements.

Are there any restrictions on holiday lights?
Holidays are a joyous time of the year. Please be considerate of your neighbor when adding decorations to the exterior of your unit. No exterior holiday decorations shall be erected more than six (6) weeks prior to the holiday and all exterior holiday decorations shall be removed within three (3) weeks following the holiday.

I would like to add security lighting, can I do this?
Security lighting for driveways, parking and other areas shall be designed, located and directed in a fashion which will avoid direct lighting onto adjoining lots.

Can I store my Motor Vehicles, Boats, RV’s, Trucks, Tents & Trailers and Temporary Structures/Mobile Homes?
  • Motor Vehicles, Boats, RV’s, Trucks , Tents & Trailers – No trailer, boat, camper, motorhome, or truck rated larger than ¾ ton or other movable or temporary structure or enclosure shall be maintained or parked on any Lot or street within public view and no tent shall be erected or maintained on any Lot for more than a cumulative of thirty (30) days in any calendar year.
  • Temporary Structures/Mobile Homes – With the exception of temporary sales offices placed by Declarant or its agents, there shall be no occupancy of temporary structures or partially completed structures, no home or other building shall be moved onto any Lot from outside Bristol Cove, and no mobile homes shall be permitted at any time.
